RAF-08 Spriditis (1958, Latvia, USSR)
From brochure (1959):
"This bus of very small capacity has been manufactured on the principle of construction of “Moskvicth” automobile, which is well-known in many countries. The Spriditis is constructed and designed for carrying eight passengers. The presence of the wide rear door allowed to use the Spriditis as an ambulance, and if necessary the RAF-08 bus may convey a load of up to 700kg in the body. The bus is easily controlled and stable when cornering. The engine is arranged in the range of the front seat, allowing for two passengers to be seated besides the driver. The passenger compartment has convenient soft seats with spring frames, a heating system delivering warm air from the radiator, ensuring the required temperature. The wide windows and glazed roof provide for very much light."
